Mr. Leonidas Christopoulos is the Secretary General of Digital Governance and Simplification of Procedures at the Ministry of Digital Governance. Mr. Christopoulos has worked as an advisor to several Ministers as well as to the President of the governing party on the field of public administration reform.

He has coordinated significant public administration reform projects in Greece such as the reorganization of the Greek Central Administration (2014), the reduction of administrative burdens in several policy areas (2014), the public financial management agenda (2012-2014) and the new law on the Executive State (2019).

Mr. Christopoulos is a civil servant at the Ministry of Finance and a graduate of the National School of Public Administration.

He holds a degree on Political Science and International Relations from Panteion University and an MA in International Political Economy from Warwick University. He speaks English & German.

Dr Eleni Doundoulaki was born in Athens. She graduated from Athens College. 

She holds a PhD in Theatre Studies (Distinction) from the Department of Theatre Studies of the Faculty of Philosophy of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She also holds a BA (Distinction) from the same Department as well as two relevant MA titles. One from the School of Drama of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and one from the Department of Theatre Studies of the Faculty of Philosophy of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

Moreover, she holds an ΜΑ in European Cultural Policy and Administration from the University of Warwick and an MSc in Culture and Society from the London School of Economics and Political Science – LSE.

She has worked in the cultural sector as a theatrologist and a scenographer as well as in the production field, collaborating, among others, with the Athens Festival, the Epidaurus Festival, the State Theatre of Northern Greece, the Municipal and Regional Theatre of Roumeli (Central Greece), the Theatro Technis (Greek Art Theatre) Karolos Koun, the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation. 

From 2010 to 2014, Eleni Doundoulaki was the Artistic Director of the Municipal and Regional Theatre of Roumeli (Central Greece), in which, beyond her artistic and administrative work, she edited and undersigned the publication for the 30 years anniversary of the Theatre (1984-2014).

She has lectured at the Theatre Studies Department of the Faculty of Philosophy of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, she has scientific announcements and participations in numerous conferences in Greece and abroad and she is the author of various articles on theatre studies and cultural policy issues. 

She was a member of the Advisory Committee concerning Artistic Issues of the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation. 

She has served as a member of the Board of Trustees of the National Library of Greece. 

Eleni Doundoulaki was actively involved in Local Government in Greece. She has served as elected Municipal Councilor and Vice Mayor of the Municipality of Psychiko and as elected a Municipal Councilor and Apponted Cpuncilor for Culture of the Municipality of Philothei – Psychiko. Finally, she was elected Regional Councilor of Attica Region, where she has served as Regional Vice Governor responsible for Culture. ​

Costis Kontogiannis holds a Un. Degree in Physics and in Mining Engineering, a MPhil in History and Philosophy of Science and Technology and a MEd in Adult Education. He has attended many seminars and training courses in the domain of education at various institutions and organisations, such as Principal training Centre (Princeton University) , School of Education at Universities of Harvard and Berkeley etc.

He has a rich experience as a Science teacher in secondary education (20 years) as well as a school headmaster (12 years). He has participated in several European projects, either as researcher, or in administrative position. The objective of those projects was about science teaching, the use of ICT in education, alternative didactics etc.

His main experience is in Physics teaching, in Educational Administration, in Human Resource Management especially in the domain of training and ameliorating the communication skills in the work environment, in the use of ICT for Educational and training purposes .

Georgios Mylonakis was born in 1973 in Perama, in the region of Attica, and is married with two children.

He graduated from the General High School of Perama and went on to study at Panteion University, graduating in 1997 with a Degree in International and European Studies.

In 2000 he received his postgraduate diploma in International Politics and Security from the Department of International and European Studies of Panteion University.

He is an experienced Civil Service executive officer. In 2003, after successfully passing the ASEP selection process (Supreme Council for Civil Personnel Selection) he was appointed to the administrative Region of Attica and in 2006 he was seconded to the Private Insurance Supervisory Committee of the Ministry of Finance.

In 2008 following an open call for candidates he was transferred to the Hellenic Competition Commission where he served as Director of the President’s Office and spokesman of the Independent Authority.

He has served as Special Advisor to the Ministers of Administrative Reform and Electronic Governance from 2013 to 2015 addressing primarily issues of transparency, accountability and strengthening disciplinary liability for civil service executive officers.

In 2015 he was appointed a full member of the National Consumer and Market Council.

In 2016 he was seconded from the Hellenic Competition Commission and was appointed Advisor to the President of New Democracy, Mr. Kyriakos Mitsotakis, on issues of Institutions and Transparency.

He is a graduate of the Varvakeio Model Experimental School (Athens, Greece), he holds a BSc in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science and an MA in European Economics from the University of Exeter (with Distinction).

Following his graduation, he was awarded a Robert Schuman Institute scholarship and worked at the European Parliament in 1995.

He started his career in 1986 at KPMG Peat Marwick in London where he became a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ACA). In 1990 he was hired by the IDV of the Grand Metropolitan PLC in London and was a key member of the working group for acquisition of METAXA SA, where he worked for four years as Director of Finance and Business Planning. In 1995 he co-founded and served as General Manager of ABS Factors, a subsidiary of Alpha Bank. During his tenure the company evolved to a market leader in the domestic Factoring and Forfaiting services industry.

In 2001 he was appointed Chief Financial Officer of the ATHENS 2004 Olympic Games Organizing Committee and subsequently, in April 2004, also Executive Director of the Organizing Committee.

Mr. Papapetropoulos is the CFO of the Theodore Angelopoulos Group specializing in Corporate Development (Mergers & Acquisitions) and business financing.

Mr. Papapetropoulos was born in 1961 and has 3 children.

Mr. Ioannis Smyrlis is a political scientist, graduate of the Department of Political Sciences and Public Administration with a Postgraduate Diploma in International and European Relations from the University of Athens (EKPA).

He represented the Ministry of Interior during the rotating Greek Presidency of the EU in 2013-2014. He was Press and Public Relations Consultant of ODIE SA. in 2009-2010, Adviser to the General Secretary of the Ministry of Shipping in 2007-2009 and Adviser to the General Secretary of S.E.P.E. in 2005-2007.

He was elected as the first president from Greece of the Youth Organization of the European People's Party (YEPP) 2007-2009, the largest political Youth Organization in Europe.

He served as Secretary of International and EU Relations of New Democracy Party and a Member of the Political Bureau of the European People's Party (ELK) in 2013-2019. During that time, he cultivated personal relationships with major stakeholders in Brussels and other European capitals.

He was a European fellow of the German Marshall Foundation of the USA and a member of the EU Youth Assembly for the European Constitution (2003), the Hellenic Society of Political Science (E.E.P.E.) and the Hellenic Society of International Law and International Relations of the Aegean Institute for the Law of the Sea and Navigation.

He has been a freelancer since 2009 in activities related to catering, trade and import-export.

He speaks English and French.
