The Presidential Decree establishing the "Greece 2021" Committee explicitly stipulates that the Committee's operation will not be financed though the state budget. The operation of the Committee as well as the events and actions that it supports or implements itself, are funded through private donations, sponsorships and proceeds from the Numismatic Programme.

The success of the Committee's sponsorship programme is therefore of paramount importance for a successful outcome to the collective effort to commemorate the 200 years after the Revolution of 1821, through events that pay tribute to the past, while at the same time showcasing the present and laying the groundwork for the future of the country.

The invitation to join and engage reaches out to all. Every company, organization, foundation and individual have the opportunity to participate in the way and to the extent that they wish, to join in the national purpose that unites all Greek people.
