Donation of 20 vehicles to the Hellenic Army General Staff, worth 840,000 €

The civil and military leadership of the Armed Forces kindly accepted the "Greece 2021" Committee donation of 20 modern personnel transport vehicles, which will be made available to our border control forces in the Evros region.

"I am thankful for the kind offer; your donation will significantly increase the transportation capacity of the Army so that it will be able to respond effectively to its mission," emphasized the Minister of National Defence, Nikos Panagiotopoulos, and pronounced Mrs. Gianna Angelopoulos-Daskalaki "a friend of the Armed Forces."



On his part, the Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff, General Constantinos Floros, pointed out that the donation strengthens and upgrades the rolling stock sector by increasing the Armed Forces' ability to perform aptly in the various roles designated by their mission and benefit the society.
