Sponsored by the "Greece 2021" Committee, the inauguration of the Library-Archive of the monastery took place on April 3, 1821, at the Church of Agios Nikolaos, the starting point of the Revolution in Spetses.
A collection of rare historical and ecclesiastical publications, well preserved and accessible to the public, exists at the place that once housed the island's school. In reality, it is a reconstitution of the old academic space through a fresh look, with the first researcher arriving in Spetses in a short while to begin studying the library's content.
