"Greece 2021" Committee donated ten new 4X4 fire engines for the needs of Civil Protection and the Fire Service.

The "Greece 2021" Committee proceeded to the donation of the vehicles, implementing the commitment it had made in August amid the catastrophic fires that had devastated the country. Speaking at a special event at the Ministry for Climate Crisis and Civil Protection, the President of the "Greece 2021" Committee, Gianna Angelopoulos-Daskalaki, reminded us that "at the time, we committed that all the proceeds generated from the Committee's Numismatic Programme, as of August 23 and until its completion on December 20, 2021, will be allocated to safeguard the country against similar disasters".

"Honoring our commitment, we implement it today by delivering the contract for the acquisition of 10 fire engines that will enhance the arsenal of the Fire Service," stressed Mrs. Angelopoulos and thanked once more the 603 persons and companies that responded to the Committee's invitation. "Everything that burned and perished belonged to us, and we will rebuild it," Mrs. Angelopoulos pointed out.
