The inauguration took place at Ioannis Kapodistrias' Governor's Office, in the presence of the President of the Hellenic Parliament, Konstantinos Tasoulas, the Deputy Minister of Shipping and Island Policy, Costas Katsafados, and other officials.

Within the framework of this Programme, which is a unique souvenir of the 200th anniversary of the Revolution, the first currency of the Greek State, the Phoenix, issued by the great Heptanesian politician at the Aegina Mint in 1828, as well as a specific silver coin referring to the integration of the Ionian Islands in Greece and depicting the first Governor of Greece, are being released once again.
